It was a humbling experience for sure! I'm not the skinny 18 year old kid I was 20 years ago and today helped me realize that.

Thanks for the encouragement, and good luck to you as well!

NMFD, You described the EXACT experience I had this morning! I got up early, put on my workout gear, no food/drink, straight into the workout. Immediately following the workout, I felt like I was either going to pass out or vomit. Finally, after about 15 minutes of laying on my floor, with my 3yr old son kneeling next to me asking me "whas wong dad?", I finally started to feel normal. I felt as if I was doing something wrong, i.e. too much too soon. I looked over the plan again, and well, I did what it calls for. The warm-up, supersets, cool downs, everything. The experience just told me that I'm in worse shape than I had anticipated. Either way, I plan to stick with it. I think the more difficult part of this journey will be eating right. My wife is a great cook. I haven't broken the news to her that I will now be on a different diet than everyone else in the house. I've tried this before, she usually scoffs at me. BUT THIS TIME I MEANT IT!!! Good luck with your journey!
